Collection: Special Edition MAPS x LARSON

Lars Sältzer (artist`s name Larson) has been working as a freelance automotive designer and illustrator of future cars for international automobile magazines for over 25 years. 

He occupied himself with cars as a child, began to draw cars at an early age and even designed new models. 

So after completing his school examinations, he attended the University of Design in Pforzheim to study in the field of Industry and Transportation Design.

 During this time, he often had the opportunity to illustrate future cars for car magazines.

 At the Mazda Europe development centre, near Frankfurt am Main, he was able to gain extensive insights into vehicle development and the vehicle design of upcoming models and even help design vehicles. 

Working at a full size Fulda-Showtruck after graduating was an exciting challenge which allowed him to use all his know-how. 

But his main field of work is the illustration of future cars and also classic cars for books like the Concorso D`Eleganza Villa D`Este yearbooks.
